Sea Lion - [Zalophus californianus]
Breakwater Rocks, Monterey, CaliforniaSea Lions are very social so you may see several hundreds of sea lions on the rocks at San Carlos Beach. They like to sun themselves as you see this one doing. The males can weigh up to 700 lbs. (315 kg) and the females up to 240 lbs. (110 kg). They can live 20-30 years. Pups are weaned after just 10 months with their mothers.

How archival are Metal Prints?
Images printed with the MetalPrints process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Like any fine art print, MetalPrints should not be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures. MetalPrints have an additional benefit over giclee or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating.
